About the museum - Royal Worcester
In 1751 Dr. John Wall and his partners formed the first Worcester Porcelain Manufactory and welcomed visitors to marvel at the skills and process needed to make the new and magical substance that could withstand intense heat.
The tradition continues today and when you visit the Worcester Porcelain Museum you can also enjoy a day out at Royal Worcester, by taking a guided tour of the factory, going to the visitor centre where you can even paint your own biscuit plate!
Or you can browse in the company's flagship stores and visit the many factory shops and enjoy good food carefully prepared with local produce in the Café at Royal Worcester.
