Events
Each year the museum mounts a vibrant series of exhibitions, ranging from loan collections
of porcelain to contemporary commercial artists who have based their work on current day
manufacture and materials.
Past exhibitions include a county wide children's design competition, that attracted over
a thousand entries from Worcestershire schools, as many of the exhibits as possible were
placed on display alongside the winning hand painted tea cup and saucers.
A superb loan collection of Nelson memorabilia commemorated the 200th anniversary of Lord
Nelson and Lady Hamilton's visit to the Worcester factory in 1802 and in 2003 the tale
of teapots and tea was told in 'Time for Tea', a loan exhibition from Norwich Castle
Museum & Art Gallery.
With free open days, talks and demonstrations there is always something new to see and do.

The Big Draw, Saturday 9th October 2010
09 Oct 2010 - 09 Oct 2010
Big Draw 9 October 2010 at Worcester Porcelain Museum - 'It's all done with mirrors!'
The exquisite designs and patterns of Worcester Porcelain were painstakingly copied and recorded for future use in large leather-bound archive books. The Museum is fortunate to have a large collection of these beautiful books and is aiming to produce a '2010 Archive Book for the Future' as it's Big Draw event this October.
Participants will gain free entry to the museum on the day and have the opportunity to create their very own plate design which will be recorded for posterity in an archive book designed for the occasion. Watch how our magic Mirror Box transforms your design!
Come along and join in the fun, no previous artistic skill is needed as there will be plenty of experts on hand to help you. No age limit and families are very welcome!
Last years event was a prestigious award winner and thoroughly enjoyed by all - watch out for more information nearer the date on our website or visit the Big Draw at www.campaignfordrawing.org
