Label This exceptional rare jug was made during the early years of production at Worcester when the strongest design influences came from the Far East. It is painted in Famille Verte enamels and is one of only 3 known. The shape is based on a Bottger, Meissen shape of about 1713.
Description Helmet shaped jug with tall circular pedestal foot. Based on a Bottger porcelain shape used at Meissen around 1713.hand painted with polychrome flowers in the Famille Verte palate. Relief modelling to foot.
