Label This is a factory sample of the pattern made by Chamberlains' for a service to mark the coronation of King George IV in 1820. The plate is made of Regent porcelain (a trial body) noted for its richness of appearance and purity of colour. Very costly Regent Porcelain was never brought into general use.
Description Richly decorated plate with green border with three reserves of painted flowers outlined with raised gold and a gilded gadroon edge.
